Print a free prepaid UPS label, and your case travels by UPS Ground to our 7,000 sq. ft. facility at 2308 McDonald Ave. From Miami or anywhere else in Florida, a digital scan is the fastest route: it reaches us the moment you send it. More than 35 technicians handle restorative, implant, full-arch and removable work, and we ship finished cases back at no charge.

How Shipping Works From Florida
1. Print a Free Label
Enter your practice details on our shipping label page and print a prepaid UPS label. Shipping to the lab is free.
2. UPS Brings the Case to Brooklyn
Pack the case with your signed prescription and hand it to UPS. UPS Ground takes 2 to 5 business days. Digital scans skip the trip: send them through our Lab Portal.
3. Your Case Comes Back
Most restorative cases are completed within 5 business days in the lab, and we send them back by UPS Ground at our cost. For a rush case, we ship faster for an added fee.
Send Digital Cases From Anywhere in Florida
From Florida, a digital scan is the fastest way to reach us: it arrives the moment you send it, and only the finished case travels by UPS. We accept STL and PLY files and connect directly with iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Dentsply Sirona (CEREC and Primescan), Medit, Carestream, Planmeca, DEXIS, Alliedstar, Shining 3D, ORI and Panda.

Common Questions From Florida Practices
Where is Elegant Dental Laboratory located?
At 2308 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn, NY 11223. We have no office in Florida: every case is made in house in Brooklyn, and Florida practices send their cases with our free prepaid UPS labels or as digital scans.
What does Florida require on a dental lab prescription?
Under Fla. Stat. § 466.021, a Florida dentist must give the dental laboratory a written prescription, dated and signed, with the dentist's license number, the patient's name or number, enough detail to identify each piece of work, and the materials for each restoration. The dentist keeps a copy for 4 years and the lab keeps the original for 4 years. Send the prescription with the case or with your digital scan.
Can a New York dental lab work for Florida dentists?
Yes. Under Fla. Stat. § 466.032, a dental laboratory in another state may serve Florida-licensed dentists without registering in Florida, working from a proper prescription. Every case we make for Florida practices is made at our lab at 2308 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn.
What types of cases do you support?
Zirconia, IPS e.max Press, PFM, implant restorations and custom abutments, full-arch cases, provisionals, dentures and partials, clear aligners, night guards and other orthodontic appliances.
Can I send a digital impression?
Yes. We accept STL and PLY files from all major intraoral scanners. Submit a Digital Case has the connection steps for your scanner.
What is the standard turnaround time?
Most restorative cases are completed within 5 business days in the lab. UPS Ground adds 2 to 5 business days each way, so a digital scan saves the trip to the lab. Implant, full-arch and rush cases depend on the case; for a rush case we ship faster for an added fee, so call before you send it.
How much does shipping from Florida cost?
Nothing. Print a prepaid UPS label on our shipping label page; we also send finished cases back by UPS Ground at no charge. Our drivers do not cover Florida; free daily pickup is for New York City and northern New Jersey.
Can I visit the lab?
Yes. Dentists are welcome at our lab at 2308 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn; call 877-335-5221 to arrange a time.
Do you work with practices outside Florida?
Yes. We work with practices across the United States: free daily pickup in New York City and northern New Jersey, and free UPS labels everywhere else, including Connecticut.
