Provisionals for New York Practices
We mill PMMA provisionals in house and keep the provisional design on file for the final restoration. Turnaround is from 5 business days; rush is decided case by case.
Our drivers pick up and deliver cases free every business day in all five boroughs and 13 counties of northern New Jersey (Pickup and Delivery). Practices elsewhere can print a free UPS label.
We accept STL and PLY scans from all major intraoral scanners. Every case is made in our 7,000 sq. ft. Brooklyn lab by more than 35 technicians, with no outsourcing. More on our New York dental lab page.

Yes. Our technicians design every provisional in CAD/CAM software, and we keep the design file for the final restoration.
Can provisionals be used for implant cases?
Yes. Implant provisionals shape the soft tissue and the emergence profile before the final; when the tissue is ready, we carry that contour into the final crown. See Implants.
How long are provisional restorations intended to last?
We recommend wearing our milled PMMA provisionals for up to one year. How long one lasts in a given mouth depends on the bite and the case type.
Do you accept digital impressions for provisional cases?
Yes. We accept STL and PLY files from all major intraoral scanners; Submit Digital Case shows how to connect yours. Physical impressions and models work too: we pour and scan them in our lab.
What materials are used for your provisionals?
Our provisionals are milled from PMMA. We recommend wearing them for up to one year. We keep the provisional design, so the shape your patient approves can be carried into the final restoration.
