Every scanner we place is new and remains the property of Elegant Dental Laboratory. Your practice keeps the TRIOS 6 as long as it maintains a minimum monthly lab spend of $3,200. If your monthly lab work falls below the minimum, we charge the difference. Available nationwide to new and existing clients.

Depending on the way you intend to use the impression scanner, you can choose a setup with a pod and computer, or a MOVE Pro cart setup with a built-in computer and adjustable screen.

Scanner specs
Proven clinical accuracy: backed by a multitude of independent scientific studies for a wide variety of workflows.
TRIOS 6 captures 2400 images per second, uses white light, UV light and Near Infrared LEDs as light sources. It outputs PLY, DCM and STL files.
TRIOS 6 is 3.8 x 3.9 x 26.6 centimeters and weighs 308 grams.
The scanner is wireless and can be placed on a pod when not in use.

PC requirements
Included with the scanner we place: a 3Shape approved, preconfigured computer with TRIOS software installed. The pod scan setup comes with either a laptop or desktop computer; whereas the MOVE Pro comes with a built-in desktop. All computers run on Windows 11 Pro.
Another important element of your solution is your ethernet speed. All communication with labs, partners and servers will happen through your ethernet connection. The faster the network, the faster you can send and receive an order. A typical TRIOS order of 30Mb will take approx. 30 seconds to transmit on a 10Mbit/s line.

Common Questions About the TRIOS 6 Program
How much does the scanner cost?
There is no purchase price. The TRIOS 6 is free to use while your practice maintains a minimum monthly lab spend of $3,200 with Elegant Dental Laboratory.
What if our lab work is below the minimum in a month?
We charge the difference between your lab work and the minimum for that month.
Is there a contract term?
There is no fixed term. Your practice keeps the scanner as long as it maintains the minimum monthly lab spend.
Who can join the program?
New and existing Elegant Dental Laboratory clients anywhere in the United States.
How soon will we receive the scanner?
Usually 2 to 3 weeks after approval. We cover shipping.
Is the scanner new?
Yes. Every scanner we place is new.
Do we have to send all our cases to Elegant?
No. You only need to meet the monthly minimum. You can also use the scanner to send scans to other labs and to aligner companies.
Can we buy the scanner?
No. The scanner is leased to your practice and remains the property of Elegant Dental Laboratory. There is no buyout option.
What happens if we stop working together?
The scanner is returned to us, and we cover the return shipping.
Who handles setup, training and support?
3Shape. You register the scanner with 3Shape, and the first year of 3Shape TRIOS Care, including onboarding, training, technical support and warranty, is included. After the first year, TRIOS Care and software subscriptions are arranged directly between your practice and 3Shape. Elegant Dental Laboratory supports your digital case submissions.
Who is responsible if the scanner is damaged or lost?
Your practice is responsible for the scanner while it is in your care, including damage, loss or theft.
