Policies & Warranties

At Elegant Dental Laboratory, we stand behind the work we make. If a restoration or appliance needs an eligible adjustment or remake within the stated warranty period, we will remake or adjust it at no additional laboratory charge, as long as the original appliance is returned to us.

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, changes in the patient’s mouth, clinical adjustments, damage caused after delivery, or cases where the restoration or appliance was altered outside our laboratory.

Warranty Periods

Screw-Retained Implant Abutments

Up to 20 years.

This also includes replacement of a restoration originally made by our lab and attached to that abutment, at no additional laboratory charge.

All-Ceramic, Metal, PFM, and Related Final Restorations

Up to 7 years.

This includes:

  • all-ceramic restorations
  • metal restorations
  • porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) restorations
  • all-metal restorations
  • single-unit inlays
  • single-unit onlays
  • single-unit crowns
  • composite resin final prosthetics
  • screw-retained crowns and bridges
  • milled implant bars
Composite Restorations

Up to 5 years.

This does not include Maryland bridges or inlay/onlay bridges.

Temporary Crowns and Bridges

Up to 2 years.

Removable and Fixed Dentures

Up to 1 year for defects in materials or workmanship.

This includes removable dentures, fixed dentures, and screw-retained dentures.

It does not include immediate dentures or provisional dentures.

Immediate and Provisional Appliances

Up to 30 days for defects in materials or workmanship.

This includes:

  • immediate dentures
  • provisional dentures
  • partials
  • retainers
  • prosthetic stents
  • surgical guides
  • radiographic guides
  • similar temporary devices
Important Warranty Terms

This dental laboratory warranty applies only to the original prescribing dental practice. It is not transferable and does not extend to patients.

The warranty covers the laboratory remake or adjustment itself when applicable. It does not cover chair time, shipping, clinical procedures, removal, reinsertion, or any other related costs outside the laboratory.

Except where prohibited by law, Elegant Dental Laboratory is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to the use of any restoration or appliance. If local law does not allow that limitation, any implied warranty is limited to 90 days from the date of delivery.

If a disagreement comes up, both sides agree to work toward a reasonable and mutually acceptable resolution.

Payment Terms

All accounts are due within 30 days of the statement date.

Accounts that are not paid within terms may be placed on COD status and may be charged a 2% late fee on the unpaid balance.
