A screw-retained crown leaves no excess cement under the gum and comes off for service without cutting. When the screw access would show, we design a cement-retained crown on a custom abutment instead.

We work with all implant systems. Our design libraries cover all major systems, we accept compatible scan bodies and titanium bases, and we can supply scan bodies. Implant crowns and custom abutments take longer than our usual 5 business days. Full-arch restorations in zirconia, PMMA, PFM, e.max or hybrid designs can be ready in as little as 4 days, though most take a little longer than 5 business days. Rush is decided case by case.
Our drivers pick up and deliver cases free every business day in all five boroughs and 13 counties of northern New Jersey (Pickup and Delivery). Practices elsewhere can print a free UPS label.
We accept STL and PLY scans from all major intraoral scanners, with direct connections to 3Shape TRIOS, iTero, Dentsply Sirona, Medit, Carestream, Planmeca, DEXIS, Alliedstar, Shining 3D, ORI and Panda. Cement or screw-retained: which should I choose?
Screw-retained is usually the safer choice: you can retrieve the crown, and there is no excess cement. When the screw access would come through the facial surface, a cement-retained crown on a custom abutment looks better. Not sure? Send the scan and ask us before we design.

How long do implant cases take?
Implant crowns and custom abutments take longer than the 5 business days of most crown work. Full arch: as little as 4 days, usually a little longer than 5 business days. Days count from the business day after we receive the case, and rush is decided case by case.
What materials do you use?
Implant crowns and bridges in zirconia, e.max (including e.max on titanium bases) and PFM; full-arch cases in zirconia, PMMA, PFM, e.max or hybrid designs. The choice depends on function, esthetics and span length.
Do you accept digital implant impressions?
Yes. We accept STL and PLY files from all major intraoral scanners; Submit Digital Case shows how to connect yours. Scan with a compatible scan body; we can supply scan bodies. Physical impressions work too: we pour and scan them in our lab.
Are implant components covered by warranty?
Yes. Screw-retained abutments we make carry a warranty of up to 20 years, and if a restoration we made on that abutment needs replacing, there is no lab charge. Screw-retained crowns, bridges and milled implant bars are covered up to 7 years, fixed and screw-retained dentures up to 1 year.
