A Full-Service Lab for Bronx Practices
Our lab is in Brooklyn, not the Bronx: a 7,000 sq. ft. facility at 2308 McDonald Ave, founded in 2007, where more than 35 technicians make every case in house. Bronx practices get the same service as a practice down the street. Our own drivers collect the case, our technicians make it, the same drivers bring it back, and you talk directly with the technicians on your case.
New York City had 183 private dental labs in 2014 and 132 in 2024 (US Dental Labs by the Numbers). We are one of the labs that still do restorative, implant, full-arch and removable work under one roof.

How Pickup Works in the Bronx
1. Call to Set It Up
Call 877-335-5221 to confirm your address and agree on the time and place. Pickup is free. Drivers plan their routes each morning, so the earlier you call, the better your chance of a pickup the same day.
2. Our Driver Collects the Case
During lab hours, Monday to Friday, our driver picks up the case with its Rx at your Bronx office. Digital scans skip the trip: send them through our Lab Portal.
3. We Deliver It
Most restorative cases are ready from 5 business days, and our driver brings the finished case back to your office the next business day.
One Lab for All Your Offices
Practices with offices outside the Bronx are covered too. Our own drivers also pick up and deliver free in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island, on Long Island out to Montauk and in 13 northern New Jersey counties, every business day.

We accept STL and PLY files and connect directly with iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Dentsply Sirona (through DS Core), Medit, Carestream, Planmeca, DEXIS, Alliedstar, Straumann, Shining 3D, ORI and Panda.
On a 3Shape TRIOS, connect in 3Shape Unite: open More, then Store, go to Labs, click Add connection and search for info@elegantlab.com. Once we approve, select Elegant Dental Laboratory in your order form.

Is Elegant Dental Laboratory in the Bronx?
No. The lab is at 2308 McDonald Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11223, and every case is made there. You do not need a lab in the Bronx for local service: our own drivers pick up and deliver across the Bronx every business day.
Do you pick up cases anywhere in the Bronx?
Yes, from Mott Haven to Riverdale and City Island, free, during lab hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET. Call 877-335-5221 to set it up. Drivers plan their routes each morning, so the earlier you call, the better the chance of a same-day pickup.
What is the standard turnaround time?
Most restorative cases take from 5 business days, counted from the business day after we receive the case. Implant crowns, custom abutments, long-span bridges and PFM on non-precious alloy take longer. Rush is decided case by case; call us before sending a rush case.
Can I send a digital impression?
Yes. We accept STL and PLY files from all major intraoral scanners. On a 3Shape TRIOS, search for info@elegantlab.com under Labs in 3Shape Unite and click Connect. Submit a Digital Case has the connection steps for every other scanner.
What types of cases do you support?
Zirconia, IPS e.max Press, PFM, implant restorations and custom abutments, full-arch cases, provisionals, dentures and partials, clear aligners, night guards and other orthodontic appliances.
I also have an office outside the Bronx. Can you cover it?
Yes. Our drivers also cover Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island out to Montauk and 13 northern New Jersey counties. Practices anywhere else in the US ship with our free prepaid UPS labels.
