Where is Elegant Dental Laboratory located?
At 2308 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn, NY 11223. Every case is made in house there, and Connecticut practices send their cases with our free prepaid UPS labels.
What types of cases do you support?
Zirconia, IPS e.max Press, PFM, implant restorations and custom abutments, full-arch cases, provisionals, dentures and partials, clear aligners, night guards and other orthodontic appliances.
Can I send a digital impression?
Yes. We accept STL and PLY files from all major intraoral scanners. Submit a Digital Case has the connection steps for your scanner.
What paperwork does a Connecticut case need?
Your Rx and a written work authorization on the Connecticut Dental Commission's form, which Connecticut requires before a lab makes or repairs a denture, bridge, splint or orthodontic or prosthetic appliance. You and the lab each keep a copy for one year. Send both with the case.

What is the standard turnaround time?
Most restorative cases are completed within 5 business days in the lab. Shipping comes on top: UPS Ground takes 1 business day each way between our lab and Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Bridgeport and Waterbury, by UPS's estimate. Implant, full-arch and rush cases depend on the case; for a rush case we ship faster for an added fee, so call before you send it.
How much does shipping from Connecticut cost?
Nothing. Print a prepaid UPS label with the form on this page; we also send finished cases back by UPS Ground at no charge. Our drivers do not cover Connecticut; free daily pickup is for New York City and northern New Jersey.
Can I visit the lab?
Yes. Dentists are welcome at our lab at 2308 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn; call 877-335-5221 to arrange a time.
Do you work with practices outside Connecticut?
Yes. We work with practices across the United States: free daily pickup in New York City and northern New Jersey, and free UPS labels everywhere else, including Florida, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Massachusetts and Ohio.
