About us

Elegant Dental Laboratories is a Brooklyn-based dental laboratory with over 30 technicians and 5,000 sq feet for state-of-the-art equipment and skilled staff. Our laboratory produces hundreds of restorations every day, and we’re happy to work with over 400 clients around the world to provide them the best prosthetics for their patients. The founding of Elegant Dental began in 2007 with owner Gary Fingerman who had previously spent 13 years as a dental technician in other high-end laboratories. Gary knew he could provide prostheses in a more efficient and cost-savings manner for dentists and their patients, so he studied advanced dental technology and later applied the best of what he had learned during his work experience to found Elegant Dental Laboratories. The original three-person lab has expanded to over 30 technicians, and in an effort to maintain the laboratory’s intimate knowledge of what dentists need the most, Gary found adjoining dental clinic Smile By Design with Dr. Lionel Abitbol. Together they serve the Brooklyn and New York community to bring the most applicable and patient-friendly resources to fulfill patient care and wellbeing. The work at Smile By Design continues to inform Elegant Dental Laboratory of what dentists really need, and likewise our laboratory enhances the dental office’s technical and technological requirements. Over 30 years of experience have allowed Elegant Dental Laboratory to build a portfolio of the industry’s most respected materials and solutions. We also produce our own Full Contour, Anterior, and Six-Layer Zirconia, applying decades of expertise and refined workflows to every restoration. Partials, implants, abutments, and a full range of restorative solutions are all fabricated in-house, and we look forward to supporting your dental fabrication needs.
