Essix appliances

While implants are healing and waiting for final restorations, essix appliances are an invisible and easy way to add teeth to an implant site for daily use. For the times immediate load is not always a viable option, the osseointegration period for edentulous spaces can be supported through comfortable and esthetically pleasing temporary essix appliances.

The essix appliance uses a transparent retainer to fit over the complete arch with a temporary restoration stuck in place so the wearer can maintain normal, daily function. The protection the temporary offers reduces the chances of an undesirable load on new implants that could jeopardize osseointegration, interference with soft-tissue healing, imprecise implant positioning, and unpredictable restorative results.
